About the role
This is an operations interview about running dependable order fulfilment under changing volume and real constraints. The panel wants evidence that you can control flow, lead shifts, interpret operational measures and solve recurring failures without losing traceability or customer trust.
How to prepare
- Map the steps from order release through picking, packing, staging and carrier handover.
- Prepare an example of balancing labour capacity with an unexpected rise in orders.
- Revise the measures you use for productivity, accuracy, backlog and dispatch performance.
- Think through contingency controls for power, system or carrier interruptions.
- Prepare a process improvement example with the problem, test, result and follow-up control.
Common mistakes
- Focusing only on speed and overlooking accuracy, safety or traceability.
- Giving staffing answers without considering order mix and work content.
- Treating every late order as an individual exception rather than checking the process.
- Describing improvements without explaining how frontline staff adopted them.
