Made for an intake
Only the applicants you choose
Invite your shortlist to a closed interview: each applicant gets a personal passcode that fills in their details. Or share one open link with everyone who applied.
Statements and portfolios
Add an applicant's personal statement or portfolio and the interviewer asks about it. You can also let applicants share up to 5 files during the interview.
Applicants wherever they are
Applicants take the interview in their browser on a phone or computer, with nothing to install, at any hour before the closing date.
Where applicants are
Keep an interview to applicants in certain countries or states when your programme needs it.
Your admissions team decides
Team members review transcripts and scores together and decide who goes forward.
Start from a template
Built-in templates come with questions and a rubric you can edit, or paste your own description and Intaviu drafts them.
- University admissions (47 templates)
- Postgraduate and MBA (32 templates)
- Schools (17 templates)
- Training and apprenticeships (18 templates)
Fair to every applicant, and your decision
Everyone gets the same structured interview. The interviewer is instructed never to ask about age, religion, ethnicity or tribe, state of origin, marital status, pregnancy, health or disability. Applicants never see scores, notes or stages, and evaluations support your team's decision rather than make it.
Paid by the minute
Interviews use credits by the minute of conversation: 10 a minute for audio, 120 for video, and paused time doesn't count. Starter is free with 500 credits a month.
Show applicants it's really you
Public universities and schools can request the grey verified badge, which shows on invitation pages, in the interview room and in emails.
