About the role
This interview tests how you combine graphic design, animation and storytelling to make messages clear in motion. The panel will look beyond software knowledge and assess your concepts, timing, project organisation, delivery discipline and response to creative direction.
How to prepare
- Select a few projects and prepare to explain the brief, concept, design system and animation decisions for each one.
- Review typography, composition, easing, timing and hierarchy in your strongest motion work.
- Practise explaining how you adapt one idea across landscape, square and vertical formats.
- Prepare an example of diagnosing a render, codec, colour or missing asset problem.
- Think of a difficult feedback round and how you clarified the note without becoming defensive.
Common mistakes
- Describing effects and plug-ins without connecting them to the communication goal.
- Showing polished frames but being unable to explain timing, pacing or transitions.
- Forgetting platform dimensions, safe areas, codecs or file size constraints until export.
- Treating vague feedback as a request for random visual changes.
