About the role
This interview tests how you turn a telecoms commercial target into disciplined execution across territories, distributors, dealers and field teams. The panel is looking for sound forecasting, command of regional market differences and leadership that improves both sales volume and sales quality.
How to prepare
- Map how activations, recharge, data use, devices and enterprise orders contribute to regional performance.
- Prepare an example of improving a weak territory through better coverage, distribution or coaching.
- Review how you build a forecast from channel stock, pipeline, run rate and local market evidence.
- Think through how you would respond to aggressive competitor pricing without damaging long-term value.
- Practise explaining how you detect poor-quality or irregular activations and correct the incentives behind them.
Common mistakes
- Talking only about headline revenue without explaining distribution, usage or activation quality.
- Treating every territory alike when population, coverage and channel economics differ.
- Giving forecasts without stating the evidence, assumptions and risks behind them.
- Focusing on pressure and targets without showing how you coach field leaders.
