About the role
A reverse logistics coordinator manages goods moving back from customers, branches or delivery partners. The panel will look for clear control of authorisations, inspections, stock status and recovery decisions, as well as calm handling of disputes between customers, carriers and warehouse teams.
How to prepare
- Map the full returns flow you have managed, including authorisation, collection, inspection, system updates and final disposition.
- Prepare an example of how you reduced ageing returns, avoidable write-offs or reconciliation gaps.
- Review the controls used to separate sellable, repairable, quarantined and scrap stock.
- Think through how you would investigate mismatched serial numbers, missing accessories or unclear damage ownership.
Common mistakes
- Treating every return as a customer service issue without explaining the stock and financial controls.
- Sending goods for disposal before inspection, approval and system records are complete.
- Using vague improvement claims without showing the cause, action and operational result.
