About the role
This interview examines your ability to design and deliver completions that meet reservoir objectives throughout the well life. The panel will look for equipment knowledge, installation detail, barrier discipline and practical management of rig, vendor and subsurface interfaces.
How to prepare
- Prepare a completion design example and explain the alternatives you rejected.
- Review tubing movement, packer selection, metallurgy, sand control and completion fluid considerations.
- Think through failure scenarios during installation and the contingencies you would include.
- Prepare an example of resolving a conflict between productivity, integrity and intervention access.
- Practise explaining how you verify equipment compatibility and supplier quality.
Common mistakes
