About this interview
A Graduate route credibility interview may check your completed UK study, immigration history and the accuracy of your application. The interviewer may also ask about your current circumstances and plans after graduation. Use the official UK government site to confirm the current eligibility rules, conditions and application process.
How to prepare
- Review your course title, study dates and the confirmation that your institution reported successful completion.
- Read your application carefully and note any changes in address, study or immigration history that need a clear explanation.
- Prepare a realistic account of the work or development you hope to pursue after graduation.
- Check the official UK government guidance for the current Graduate route rules and conditions.
Common mistakes
- Confusing the Graduate route with a sponsored work route.
- Giving study dates or course details that do not match the application.
- Inventing a job offer or career plan to make the application sound stronger.
- Using informal online advice instead of current official guidance.
