About the role
This interview covers the practical work of moving an education product from agreement to everyday use. The panel wants someone who can plan a rollout, train different user groups, solve problems calmly and keep both the school and product teams informed.
How to prepare
- Map the stages of an implementation from discovery and data collection through launch and handover.
- Prepare an example of a rollout that faced a delay or adoption problem and how you recovered it.
- Review how you separate user error, configuration issues, connectivity problems and product defects.
- Think through how you would train teachers with different levels of digital confidence.
- Choose useful measures for activation, regular use and unresolved support issues.
Common mistakes
- Treating launch as successful without checking whether staff use the product.
- Promising features or dates before confirming scope and dependencies.
- Escalating a technical issue without logs, steps or affected user details.
- Giving every user group the same training regardless of their work.
