About the role
This interview tests product thinking for a digital wallet rather than prior ownership of a large product. The panel wants to see how you investigate user problems, choose useful measures, make trade-offs and communicate clear work to a delivery team.
How to prepare
- Map common wallet journeys such as onboarding, funding, transfer and transaction tracking.
- Practise turning a feature request into questions about the user problem and supporting evidence.
- Prepare a simple prioritisation example with impact, effort, risk and urgency.
- Review how to write a user story with useful acceptance conditions.
- Think about measures for successful onboarding, payment completion and repeat use.
Common mistakes
- Jumping from one complaint straight to a favourite feature.
- Using downloads or page views as the only evidence of customer value.
- Writing requirements that describe a screen but not the user need or expected behaviour.
