About the role
This interview tests how you support a cloud sale from discovery through technical validation. The panel is looking for credible architecture decisions, focused demonstrations, honest handling of product gaps and an ability to connect technical choices to business needs.
How to prepare
- Prepare a solution story that covers discovery, architecture, objections, validation and outcome.
- Review cloud reliability, security, networking and cost trade-offs at an architectural level.
- Practise asking discovery questions before drawing a design.
- Plan a short demonstration around a buyer problem rather than a tour of every feature.
- Think through how you qualify a request that the product cannot meet directly.
Common mistakes
- Designing before clarifying the workload, users, data and failure constraints.
- Giving a feature-heavy demonstration with no link to the buyer's decision.
- Promising unsupported capabilities to protect a deal.
