About the role
This interview tests how you receive, store, pick and dispatch medicines in a controlled warehouse. The panel wants evidence that you can protect batch identity and storage conditions, keep inventory accurate, coordinate transport and respond properly to deviations under delivery pressure.
How to prepare
- Revise quarantine, release, rejected-stock and returned-stock segregation in a pharmaceutical warehouse.
- Prepare an example of finding and correcting an inventory or picking discrepancy.
- Practise explaining first-expiry-first-out rotation and batch traceability from receipt to customer.
- Review how you would contain a temperature excursion, damaged pack or power interruption.
- Think through how route and loading decisions affect delivery time and product protection.
Common mistakes
- Moving quarantined or affected stock before quality has made the required decision.
- Describing first-in-first-out when medicine expiry dates require first-expiry-first-out control.
- Treating a stock difference as a simple adjustment without finding its cause.
- Focusing only on speed while overlooking batch, quantity and temperature checks.
